Hello! My name is Katy. I am currently attending Edison State College and in the Bachelors program for Elementary Education. I didn't always know that I wanted to be a teacher, but I did always know that I wanted to be in a position where I could help and make a difference in people's lives. Other career plans in my life didn't work out, but that's okay because it lead me here! I am very excited to start teaching and I feel that this is my true calling. I believe learning to read and loving to read are very important. I love reading because it takes me on a wild adventure everytime and I want my students to experience this as well!
